Draw agreed.

It's been seen before up to move 8 when 9. Nf3 appears new. An engine reckons White is a little worse which may explain the draw offer. On move 6, you can take on f7, as tried by Zaitsev against Karpov in 1966 (!). Apparently it doesn't lead anywhere.

Looking at Jim's recorded game history, he's played the 3. d4 line before. He's actually played the Petroff more times than he's faced it.

Now 1.5-1.5 with Mark left. No doubt earlier he was expecting to have to win to save the match but now we would happily settle for a draw and 2-2.
