I very much enjoyed Richard's review, and also thought
Spurious Games was really good. This is my critique from a few months back, for
The Chess Circuit.

Thanks to Richard, and Ben, for the reviews; glad I bought the book, a very enjoyable read on my kindle (although the chess diagrams were hard to see with my eyesight)
A welcome diversion for me at a difficult time
As Richard says, chess players should read more fiction, and I'd be happy to read further recommendations from Richard and Ben
Forgot to add, it struck me at times that the book (or maybe the first draft, or outline) had been written quite a few years ago, and revised in part before publication
