"Further delays to appear shortly"
Should this say "Further details", Gareth?

I had always associated the Rhyl Congress with May.
Indeed the 55th was earlier this year.

but the 54th was in September 2023

Otherwise the 53rd(?) had been in May 2019

What is meant by "organisational support" in this context - funding?

I assumed it meant people willing to organise it. I thought "public support" might refer to funding and mean that the council weren't prepared to make the previous venue, Rhyl Town Hall, available, or maybe available at an acceptable cost.Matt Mackenzie wrote: ↑Tue Aug 19, 2025 2:07 pmWhat is meant by "organisational support" in this context - funding?

It could also mean that hardly anyone had entered so far.
The May Congress had 16 starters in the Open, 25 in the Major and 23 in the Minor

I also assumed that the "public" there meant actual players.
