6th Southampton Rapidplay - Saturday 30th November

The Southampton Rapidplay has a new venue, at the University of Southampton's Avenue Campus (SO17 1BF).

Date: Saturday 30th November 2019
Format: 6 round Swiss

Prize fund: Minimum £100 in each section
Entry fees: £12 for adults and £8 for juniors (on the day entries are subject to a £3 surcharge)
Players are required to have ECF membership at Silver or above, or pay a £9 surcharge (£6 for juniors)

Entries will be split into 2 or 3 sections based on ECF grades, with Sections A and B using a time control of 25+5, and Section C using a time control of 30 minutes.
Section A will be FIDE rated, and all sections will be ECF graded.
