Website
Furthermore, the Tournament Directors reserve the right to invite guest players from off-island with close connections to the Isle of Man, such as members of the team that regularly officiate at the Isle of Man International. Such guests will be ineligible for the winning of any title but will be eligible for prize money.
(Obviously, this is dependent on the IOM borders being open to non-residents)

Looking at the websites it seems that this offers little hope unless the IoM government changes policy in the meantime. IoM borders are still closed to non-residents, who may not enter the island without an exemption certificate.

There is always hope. Keep the faith.
All these quarantine rules around the world are in a constant state of flux.
The IOM government is under immense pressure to relax the rules as it's economy relies heavily on tourism.
During these difficult times, I try my best to keep positive.
I'll keep on checking various websites for any other tournaments coming up.
Thanks Mick for posting the link for me.

To the best of my knowledge, & quoting information from the IOM Steam Packet Company:
The Isle of Man’s borders will remain closed to non-Island residents until further notice
& if arriving by air:
In response to the COVID19 Pandemic, ALL persons arriving onto the Isle of Man MUST be in possession of Entry Permission, details of the requirements can be found by visiting: covid19.gov.im

From what I understand. The IOM government is allowing non residents in but they have to quarantine for 14 days.
The Congress website is accepting entries between 2nd September and 2nd October.
Things might change regards quarantine rules.
There is always hope.

Does anybody know of any non IOM residents entering?
Looking at this list I can see only one.

8 entries in total so far.
At least it's a start with one non resident.
I think it was announced yesterday on the news that quarantining has been reduced to 7 from 14 days for the Isle of Man. The condition is that you have to pay for your own Covid test of £50 and it has to come back negative.
Also Guernsey is relaxing restrictions for non residents.
So there is hope that things might also change soon for the IOM.

IoM 7 day quarantine, but it is just for IoM residents returning
Guernsey, which has an air bridge with the island, introduced a similar approach last month
so it would appear that UK players can't enterThe island's borders were closed to most on 27 March but reopened to residents on 20 July

As I thought, impossible for non residents to enter the IOM, except in very exceptional circumstances.Mick Norris wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 12:01 pmIoM 7 day quarantine, but it is just for IoM residents returning
