Although it could be something to do with Omicron, just as likely i guess is that it is a residual effect of the original infection. I believe test and trace might even advise people with recent infections not to take tests for a number of months because there is a reasonable chance they will test positive whilst not being infectious. Isn’t he ill though, as well as having a positive test?
