4th Warwick University Rapidplay - SAT 5th FEBRUARY 2022 - ECF & FIDE RATED

The 4th Warwick University Rapidplay Tournament (ECF-graded & FIDE-rated), will be held on SATURDAY 5th FEBRUARY at the University of Warwick, Warwick University Science Concourse (opposite the Library on the Bridge)- B2.01-B2.05, Library Road, Coventry, West Midlands, CV4 7AL.
This event is open to All students, staff, Alumni and the general public. There will be an Open, Major (U1800), and Minor (U1500) Section; both with seven rounds of 15 minutes + 10 second increment.
Entry Fees: £10 (100% of fees goes towards prize money + overheads!)
All entries will be handled via the electronic ticketing system linked below:

Expected Prize Money!
Open: 1st £120, 2nd £80, 3rd £50
Major: 1st £90, 2nd £60, 3rd £30
Minor: 1st £90, 2nd £60, 3rd £30
There will be an additional grading prize of £30 in each section.
Playing Schedule:
Round 1: 10:30-11:40
Round 2: 11:40-12:50
Round 3: 12:50-14:00
Round 4: 14:00-15:10
Round 5: 15:10-16:20
Round 6: 16:20-17:30
Round 7: 17:30-18:40
Closing Ceremony and Prize Distribution: As soon as possible.
Refreshments:
A variety of campus shops, restaurants and cafes will be open. The closest being the library café next door:
