It's something that should probably be in the T&Cs:

"If an unrated player enters non-concurrent tournaments, the organizer reserves the right to transfer them between sections for the later tournament based on the result of the earlier tournament."

It's just as well I didn't get paired to play him in the last round of the main Hastings event (we were actually on the same score, though our performance ratings were very different!) because I have no intention of ever playing again the person who came so close to criminally stealing my Online British title off me.

Unfortunately, the Swiss Manager file was not set up to show Rapid or Blitz ratings.

No complaint was received until late in round 4.

When action was taken, it was decided that it should have been spotted earlier by us but as it hadn't been it was felt unfair to punish him fully. He therefore had half of his prizemoney deducted. Another player had a lesser fine imposed for a similar offence of not fully disclosing previous results.
