The venue is less than 10 mins. from the M6 Exit 28

There is free car parking at the rear of the venue

I'm possibly biased because it's my local Congress but it's a well run event in a spacious venue. Recommended, especially if you haven't had enough chess at Lancashire venues after the British Championships
