ECF Grand Prix Event
5-round Swiss tournament

ECF game fee registered / Northern Membership Scheme event

Open: prizes £240, £120, £60 + £25 grading prizes

Major (under 160): prizes £180, £100, £50 + £20 grading prizes

Minor (under 120): prizes £180, £100, £50 + £20 grading prizes

Entry fees: £24 (£20 for full ECF and NMS members)

OAPs/juniors: deduct £2 from entry fee

Grading prizes: number will be dependent on entries

Late entries at the discretion of the organisers and subject to a £2 surcharge

Byes: A ½ point bye(s) allowed in any round or rounds, but players taking a bye in round five will not be eligible to win a prize

Rate of play: 42 moves in 1 hour 45 minutes after which the clocks will be turned back 15 minutes and games played to a finish

No player may win more than one prize

Organisers reserve the right to alter prizes dependent upon entries

All ungraded players must give proof of playing ability

Ungraded players are not eligible for grading prizes
