Entries currently stand at 36, which is not enough to run three separate graded sections. All three sections have been combined, but the prize money remains the same.

I like the idea of these one section tournaments! I know you hadn't hoped to have done it this way, I think it will be exciting! Good luck with it and I hope that you get more entries before the weekend!

One section tournaments were still fairly common when I started playing three decades ago. We could do with a few back, if only to provide variety

The irony is that we had run the first three as completely Open tournaments, but as entries were increasing year-on-year, and we weren't attracting players from the U110 bracket, we decided to go for three graded sections.
We are up to 41 entries now, but that's still not enough to run 3 sections in a 6-round Swiss format.

Yes, a very enjoyable and efficiently run event. Does anyone know where I can see the results?
