Bournemouth Chess Congress 14th to 16th October

Post by Jonathan Bryant » Tue Jul 26, 2011 2:57 pm

Bournemouth Chess Congress approaches, to be held at the Bournemouth International Hotel.

Anybody played there before? Anybody have any thoughts to share on conditions:-

I'm thinking predominantly of playing conditions (space around board, lighting etc) but also quality of hotel/anything else really.

thanks.

Jonathan

We now have a new website which covers the various congresses held in and around Bournemouth, including the event in October:
http://www.bournemouthchesscongress.org.uk/

It is still a work in progress which I hope to enhance over the coming months.

@Brendan: Would you mind if I used some of your pictures for this website or if I could link to the url you provided in your post?

The key thing to consider is if it is ok to eat a Big Mac in reception?

Hi Brendan,

Congratulations on getting into the prizes, and again I would be grateful if we could enhance our website gallery with a selection of your fine photos?

Hope you can make it back down again next year, perhaps you'd care to try our new congress in April as well!
