Kings Place a.k.a. the Guardian offices? If so, a very nice building with excellent amenities; have been there a couple of times. And just down the road from me :)

Several people have asked me how to get to the Kings Place Festival venue - it couldn't be easier.

You can go to Kings Cross and then exit following the signs for the canal- that's the easiest route.

Take a look at these photos, they'll be a useful guide.

Non-members won't be able to pay the ECF's Pay-to-play fee?

The reason I ask is:
a) because most congresses seem to allow for payment of the £6 Pay-to-play fee; and
b) as the congress takes place late in the membership year and people who sign up for Silver membership (or higher) will have little opportunity to make further use of their membership.

Any chance of a change of mind?

Of course that is possible, just not with the ticketing system we have. If you enter and are a non member or Bronze, I will write you a reminder to either upgrade or be prepared to pay six pounds at the venue!

It should say that on the promotional material then. If you were visiting London as a tourist from outside of England, it might discourage your entry if you were given the impression that it was a closed shop for ECF members only and that you would have to pay a year's membership for one day of use.

Thanks Adam. I shall let S&BCC and Streatham Library CC members know.
