Each player will be allowed 30 minutes for all moves.
ECF Rapidplay rules apply.
VENUE
The GUILDHALL is 1 mile south of Stockport Town Centre on the A6 (169Wellington Rd South, SK1 3UA). There is a large,supervised car park to the rear of the Guildhall. (£2.00p per car, payable on entry). Light refreshments and licensed bar facilities will be available.
TRAVEL
The venue is 20 minutes walk from Stockport bus and railway stations.
By car, it is a few minutes from Junction 1 on the M60 Motorway.
There are regular buses on the A6 from Manchester and places south of Stockport.
STOCKPORT LEAGUE TROPHIES
The highest placed Stockport League registered player in the Major, Intermediate and Minor sections will be awarded an individual trophy.
JUNIOR, SENIOR AND ADDITIONAL GRADING PRIZES.
These will be awarded according to age and number of entries.
GRADES
The september 2008 ECF grades will be used. Later grades will not count.. Players not on this list must quote their last ECF grade and state the year if they had one..
Ungraded players must give details of their strength, previous successes and grade if any. Except in the Open section, they may only win one half of the first prize. All other prizes will be paid in full.
