The event is a 7 round event over the Late Summer bank holiday weekend, offering three FIDE rated sections and a prize fund of over £2,000. The Open has a first prizes of £500 and the u2000 £400 whilst the u1700 section has a special low entry fee of just £22 (£17 if you are staying at the hotel), whilst still offering a sizeable first prize of £200. We know this event will be popular, so all sections have prizes down to 4th as well as rating prizes.
