Not sure that they'll be much crossover between Paignton participants and British blitz, or not that would choose the latter over the former. Gives someone else a chance to win though

BTW If venues etc haven't been finalised then, if you wanted to avoid Paignton the obvious solution would be to switch the Bristol qualifier to the Sunday. There's no particular reason why all the qualifiers have to be exactly the same day, is there?

I thought the idea was to stop anyone playing in more than 1 event, so they have to be on the same dayRichard Bates wrote: ↑Tue Mar 20, 2018 8:31 pmBTW If venues etc haven't been finalised then, if you wanted to avoid Paignton the obvious solution would be to switch the Bristol qualifier to the Sunday. Don't need to have events on the same day, just make a condition of entry that you can only enter one event. Might even improve entries slightly if there is a Sunday option for those prepared to travel.Mick Norris wrote: ↑Tue Mar 20, 2018 8:32 pmI thought the idea was to stop anyone playing in more than 1 event, so they have to be on the same dayRichard Bates wrote: ↑Tue Mar 20, 2018 8:31 pmBTW If venues etc haven't been finalised then, if you wanted to avoid Paignton the obvious solution would be to switch the Bristol qualifier to the Sunday. The original idea was to have four on each day, but when I asked Organisers which day they preferred, the first half a dozen I asked all preferred Saturday. So the idea was revised accordingly. But we'll see what happens when Organisers contact venues to book them.Richard Bates wrote: ↑Tue Mar 20, 2018 8:40 pmDon't need to have events on the same day, just make a condition of entry that you can only enter one event. Are the dates for 2019 known?

Indeed. The Premier section is now 9 rounds rather than 7, with two rounds on 1st September.

Ah, thanks very much to both. That's extremely helpful.
