Re: Hastings 2018-19
Useful to have confirmation that they are taking advantage of the last Sunday to run 10 rounds.
It looks as if it will be possible to play 20 rounds. 5 rounds in the Christmas over the first weekend, 5 rounds in each of the New Year morning and afternoon and then another 5 in the weekender. That may depend on round times on the three round Friday.

The playing schedule and entry details are available.

Other than the Masters, they haven't said what the move rate will be. I don't think 90 30 can be assumed, as there's a history of Hastings using rates with 10 second increments.

The time control for events other than the Maters is indeed all moves in 110mins with 10 sec increments.

Do you mean that, or do you mean G/110 + 10'? I noted the Weekend Open was FIDE-rated, so it would be unusual not to have a 4-hour session.Alex McFarlane wrote: ↑Fri Aug 17, 2018 6:36 pmThe time control for events other than the Maters is indeed all moves in 100mins with 10 sec increments.
