Richmond Juniors have a cheque for £35 for a grading prize for Ian Leko dated from 9 October 2016.

We would dearly love to pay him what he is owed, but we seem to have lost communication.

The debt is one which we would like to honour if at all possible.

We like to pay out our prizes, even at some inconvenience, otherwise our statement of "guaranteed prizes" would be rendered meaningless.

Ultimately it might end up like that, of course, if all attempts to make contact fail, but happily I have been now been given a possible mobile number, which I will try this weekend.

Out of curiosity, how long do most tournaments leave prizes unclaimed before declaring them expired?

Paul - Fortunately Ian Emerik Leko has a distinctive second name which meant he could easily be traced on LinkedIn. For the past year or so, it seems that he has been working for Coca Cola in Croatia. Hope that is some small, although possibly only very small, assistance.
