From the last world rapid, white to play and win.

Think that I have got it, but won't spill the beans just yet.

I assume it starts with Qe3, which obviously ( in analysis mode! ) cannot be taken. But there are other defences.

I've searched for the game but can't find it.

The problem with 1. Qe3 is that after 1. ... Qxe3 2. Rxg7+ Kh8 3. Rxf7+, Black has 3. ... d4, protected by the queen.

I think I've got the solution but since it's late at night I won't post it in case people want to attempt solving it in the morning.

I searched for "Christiansen - Burmakin" and the live game was the first result of that search.

My instinct to play the silliest looking move on the board was right. It is quite logical in hindsight. The Black queen is completely overloaded and has nowhere to go and nothing to protect it. Ditto for the Black king.

Echoes of the conclusion to the 2016 World Championship match. Almost study-like.

Given that some time has elapsed now, I presume that Qh5 is the solution?

Yes and if black takes then white has Rxg7+, Rxf7+, Rg7+ and Rg1-6 and Bxf6 mate.
