Birthday Wishes Peter Lee (21-xi-1943)

Post by John Upham » Sat Nov 21, 2020 11:01 am

Peter Lee won the British Championship on his first attempt in Hastings, 1965.

He was 21 and, at that point, the youngest winner.

Peter is the only person who has won British championships in both chess and bridge. :D

Interesting - nice to see everyone wearing coats in the Hastings video.

There are many "Hamilton-Russell" Cups of course.
