Hi Peter,
Yateley Manor are fielding 8 teams , but there are various dropouts at different times during the weekend. If you are short and nobody takes up the invite, we can provide you with a player if you need one. Better than a default!
By the way , I strongly rcommend the 4JCL to ALL junior clubs and associations. It is an extremely good event.

I'm bringing down an Under 11 team, Rydal Penrhos Knights to make our debut in the league.
Five kids plus families - hoping for a fantastic weekend.

Little to nothing on the website. I had to email last week just to see if our entry had been received.

U11 Round 3: Rydal Penrhos 3-1 Chess Kings
U11 Round 4: Rydal Penrhos 1-3 Yateley Manor 'A'
Very proud. Yateley are a superb bunch, very strong and we were the first to take a board point off them this weekend. Very happy so far with three wins and one loss.
Three more fixtures tomorrow.
Brilliant event and one we will support every year.

Re: Junior Four Nations League
You play 7 rounds in one weekend? That sounds good. With the three weekends, does this mean you play 21 games over the course of the year; all "standardplay", i.e. 1 hour each for the game?

Re: Junior Four Nations League
Turned out we played 6 rounds and they decided over night (but didn't tell us until round 5 was just about to begin and the players were at the boards) that this weekend would be a stand-alone tournament.
Left a sour taste in what was otherwise a very good weekend.
Gathering my thoughts about it before I do a report for my blog.

Re: Junior Four Nations League
Instead of being a league over three weekends (which is what I signed up for), this weekend's event is now complete.
When we meet again in February, it will be a whole new tournament.
