Given this is listed as a closed event open only to Hampshire players, is this the right place to advertise it?

I'm hoping that there are new Hampshire parents and juniors that may encounter the post in this place and enter.

There would appear to be a tranche of new players not known to HJCA so relying on out of date mailing lists is not useful.

We have had six entries already since entries opened this morning and most of these are not known to our mailing list.

Wherever the secret entries come from, good luck!

We know who they are now. Mainly children who have only to date played online chess with the obvious ramifications.
