U14/U10 clash on December 12th

Post by Neill Cooper » Thu Nov 05, 2009 10:54 pm

Is there any way the clash between the London Junior Chess Championships (U14 and U10) on Dec 12th to 13th and the English Junior Rapidplay on Dec 12th can be resolved? It seems a great shame that two such prestigious events have clashed.

Oh, I see. In that case, the clash is understandable - I remember the London Junior often holds two events separate from the rest. It has just picked the same time it usually does. A bit unfortunate, really.

I'd have no problems with a London Chess Classic Junior Rapidplay clashing with the LJCC, but to call it the English Junior Rapidplay is makes it sound more important than the LJCC, an event that was planned and booked before the the London Chess Classic.
