ECF Schools Membership Query

Can anyone enlighten me as to the difference in benefits to the individual of being a Junior Gold member or being a pupil / student as at school which is itself an ECF School Member?

They are very different. One is individdal the other corporate.

If a pupil wish to play in a congress or league chess then ECF School membership is ignored.
If your school wants to play in an ECF School competition then the school needs to be an ECF School member.

As I thought. The reason for asking is that Team Managers for the ECF Girls event are questioning if their girls need to renew their individual memberships to play in individual competitions. I assumed that they did need to renew.
