EJCOA finals 3th to 5th July

The EJCOA finals entry is now live. There are already 72 entries. You can register on https://ejcoa.co.uk/online-payments/nyc-2026 The full program is also on the entry link.

This is now by far the best junior final in the UK with the normal 5 rounds of fide and ECF rated chess plus training in pre-determined subjects as per the entry form, game analysis by the very few fide trainers in the UK, plus the evening simul that last year had around 90 children take part.

The event is now and ECF Qualification event to play for England

In addition this. This year we will have live boards for the top 5 boards in the U16 to U21 combined section. In this section there is free entry for the first 20 players to email [email protected] who are over ECF or FIDE 2100 We are looking to add an extra £500 first prize to this section which has not yet been advertised.

Finally we will have a streamer covering the games, training , interviews and all sorts of things.
