Congratulations to Yang-Fan Zhou who finished equal first in the Sunny Beach Open in Bulgaria held from 6th-14th September 2014. His round 9 game was especially entertaining – http://live.sunnybeach-chess.com/

Yes good result by Yang-Fan can he get a norm towards becoming a GM?

I have always liked Yang-Fan style of play and remember when he beat me at Richmond Junior chess club when he was 8.

(is this still "Junior" news?)

Bit surprised he went back there after all the problems the British players had there last year. Was he the only one?
