Can I politely remind teachers, parents, coaches and chess organisers that we are taking entries to the above event. Boost the cause of girls and women's chess simply by taking part. School teams of three, all standards from beginner to expert.

U11 and U19 sections.

Please note the latest entries below and a small date change affecting the northern semi-final. We really could do with some more entries for that event.

Entries above are current to 18th December.

Heading for a new record for the semi-final at Bramley.

68 teams of three with a month to go!

Nice to see the northern event gradually picking up

Keep the entries coming in and encourage your school to enter if they haven't already done so.

St Catherine's hosted a superb event again this year. Over 200 competitors was a sight to behold. The staff at the school do everything they can to help ensure players and supporters have a great day out. There's a welcome party and a free lunch for absolutely everyone on the premises. It's lovely to see the attendances of the Headteachers of the Prep school and the Senior school throughout the day and their messages and support are most welcome. It's a real honour to be able to attend this occasion.
