Chess club / group for small children in London

Post by Artem Gurevich » Sun Feb 18, 2018 9:21 am

Hello,

I am looking for a well-run chess club / group for my daughters age 5 and 6. Ideally a small group of 5-15 kids of similar ability with a professional coach.

Any recommendations will be much appreciated. I can be reached at [email protected]

Thank you,
Artem

If you want some choice, junior clubs (or integrated adult-and-junior clubs) across the north of London also include Richmond, Harrow, Watford and St Albans. Different clubs have different operational models and you'll probably find you like some more than others. As Adam suggests above, try googling first to get the respective flavours. Apologies to any club I've inadvertently omitted or wrongly included!

Check out the coaches page and the junior sections on ECF main website. There is a comprehensive list.
There are other coaches too via Chess in Schools and the Communities.

Well I suppose Richmond (club) is north of the river, but a push to define as North London!

LOL, I should point out that I have no connection whatever with Richmond or Richmond Chess Club. However, it is undeniably accessible from much of north London.
