Jabber Support

Post by Carl Hibbard » Sun Nov 09, 2008 7:10 pm

I have added Jabber Support to this forum, well it was added some time ago

It will only be of interest to a very limited number of people and since I am not 100% sure how well it works or how! it works

Please feel free to contact me if you want to try it out do some testing etc.
Cheers

It's an instant messaging technology - see:-

http://www.jabber.org/

It's used more by those of us in the Linux world to be honest but if you want to give it a go let me know

In a nutshell it allows members to type live messages to other people who are connected

As I said it's of limited use and I nearly didn't even mention it :?

Looks a bit too technical for me. And I can't think of anything I want to send to anybody!
