The unknown games inputter is Katie Smith, fyi.
True glory lies in doing what deserves to be written; in writing what deserves to be read.

Photo 32 has a confusing caption: "Roger Edwards, ECF President presents the Division One Trophy to Andrew Green (Wood Green, Hilsmark Kingfisher) for winning the the Division Two title."

38 is Ali Roy, not Tereza Olsarova.

47 is Ananth Balaji

50 is Vaness Reid

52 is Yasmin Giles

74 is Tereza Olsarova

Some more photos here from Sean Terry:

The link has been posted on the 4NCL website.

Scary picture of me here:

My opponent has just moved his king from g3 to h3. A prize for anyone who can work out why h6 wins but Kf4 doesn't.

You can see the natural order of chess administration:

Typical arbiter/organiser room: http://johnupham.smugmug.com/Chess/4NCL ... w&lb=1&s=A

Typical inputter room: http://johnupham.smugmug.com/Chess/4NCL ... t&lb=1&s=A

Three people crammed onto two desks, as opposed to one person spread out over four. :P

I re-read the manifesto of the recently elected ECF Director of Home Chess to see what he proposed to do about this sad state of affairs.

About the plight of games inputters there is not a word.

Instead he who is now the Director refers to his prowess as an arbiter.

Of course. I thought by mentioning my status as an arbiter, I'd get a bigger table!

Is this from a well-known film:
You're gonna need a bigger table!
I think it featured an annoying bear which terrorised a tourist town (maybe Torquay?) by warning everyone about a membership scheme...

I may be confused.
