Tournament pairings assessment

Post by Dan O'Dowd » Thu Feb 28, 2013 11:41 pm

Heya,

I'm looking for a volunteer ECF Arbiter to do me a favour! A couple of years ago I handled the pairings with our county organiser for the Cumbria Championships, and the task falls to us again this year. I've got experience of doing it, but I was wondering if anyone official would mind looking over the pairings we made for that weekend tournament, and offer any feedback on misinterpretation of rule orders, or other niceties that they're acquainted with, so that we will have some direct guidance for tricky situations ahead of time. I'd also appreciate if same person would look over the pairings for last year's tournament, since when I was there a lot of them seemed quite arcane to me, so I'm either wrong and can learn a few things, or something else was up.
