No caption but it may help explain why I always seem to be material down when I play him in my Sutton Coldfield simuls :roll:

Derek's newly invented 128 piece a-side chess variant had been an unmitigated flop. Due to a complete lack entries he found himself drawn to play against a Sports Centre table in the inaugural national championship. Worse still, after 67 hours play in a complex battle, his mobile went off an he was instantly disqualified.
