When are you going to post the round 5 pgn's.
Some of us have deadlines to meet.

I knew sloppiness would creep in after 4 or 5 rounds - I just knew it.

The Scottish Champs ran as smooth as silk 'cos I was there to
keep an eye on you all - have I got to come down and sort things out.

I had all the PGN's entered and posted from 48 boards, published two daily columns,
did a daily Corner, chased up the catering staff and did the speech on the live demo board.

You have but one task - put the games into a basic pgn file and post.

Not wanting to create more work for hard-pressed volunteers, but is there a facility on these boards to allow manual input? And if so, could the moves not be relayed using moves provided to commentary room by demo board operators?

there seems to real problems with torquay and doing the live games at liverpool after round 1 it all went like clockwork is the broadband not as good in the south west Carl? can the remote be fixed carl?

Read the other threads Ian as there is no broadband on site its just 3G

The issue this time is with the crappy DGT Toma software which seems to have crashed

They are trying hard on site I suspect

Gormally-Howell is now at move 4 - so hopefully all will be well soon! Incidentally, I played Mike Surtees about 30 years ago in a tournament - then I think he played openings normally. We managed to reach King v King in the QP finish, He played something like Kf5! I replied Kf7 and he said - ah the opposition. At that point we did agree the draw.

The wrong move 4 though - I believe 4...h6 was played (and is a rather better move than the 4...d6 currently displaying).
