Picking Neymar, Robben, Van Persie, and Muller as my strikers paid off. Picked 2 Algerian players who got dropped for the match against Germany, but left the goalie and Djabou out of the team. The only one I got remotely right was gambling on Oezil.

Viewing the player scores mid game or even at the end compared to the next morning can be somewhat confusing. My Brazilian goalkeeper allegedly had 14 points but this was reduced to 4 (I suspect they included penalty shoot out saves and then removed them), and one of my strikers had six but ended up on 2 despite not appearing to have sufficient minus points for this to happen :?

I have Özil in my team. Unfortunately, it is a Twatball team.

I've loaded up my team with Argentina, Holland and France players for the Quarter Finals.

So who was the genius that chose Krul for this match? Anyone?
True glory lies in doing what deserves to be written; in writing what deserves to be read.

Penalty shoot-outs aren't included in the scoring albeit my Brazilian keeper in the Chile match briefly had a score of 14 before it was reduced back to 4

I picked Demichelis during the group stages- didn't play. I picked Fernandez for the quarter finals, he got replaced by Demichelis. Not to mention my picking Gago for this round (dropped for the first time) and Di Maria (injured after half an hour).

I also picked Demichelis for the group stages along with Krul & Maxi Rodriguez and then picked the suspended Argentine defender for the Q/F. Other gems included selecting Julio Cesar in a round where my other two keepers scored double figures and opting for a Q?F forward line of Benzema, Mueller & Messi whose combined score was that of one of my defenders

A Brazil defeat appears to have ground the FIFA web site to a crawl.

Am I the only one who picked a load of Germans for my side, as I appear to have gained a few points on everyone, although I stupidly picked the one German defender who got substituted at half time as my captain.

If only that consolation goal hadn't of gone in, I might have scored even more.

I picked five and was surprised to see my score of 88 from one match had actually dropped me two places down the league

I thought "Do I go with Luiz or Kroos for my captain? Well, I reckon it'll be a tight match..." Can't believe he got 12 points.

It's fair to say that my last minute decision to get rid of Blind (on the grounds I didn't need that many defenders) & Clasie for Gustavo & a token Algerian was bad even by my record of last minute changes
