More Moderators?
As "we" grow does this forum need more moderators or are people happy to take my call whatever it is?
Cheers

I don't at the moment. I would be happy to if we felt an extra moderator was needed.

Thanks Jack, you are the number one candidate but I felt I should ask for opinions first!FM Jack Rudd wrote:I don't at the moment. I would be happy to if we felt an extra moderator was needed.

Moderation works well on this forum. I think Carl exercises good judgment. If Carl needs to share the load then I think more moderators are great but I hope they apply their moderation in a consistent way with Carl (am sure they will)

Re: More Moderators?
As the forum grows, it will need more mods. Whether that point has alrerady been reached i am not sure, but it will happen at some point. I think it comes down to whether Carl feels that it is getting too much for one person. At that stage a second person is needed.
True glory lies in doing what deserves to be written; in writing what deserves to be read.

I am a moderator on a poker forum we have 6 moderators that way there is already somebody around incase we get spam attacks or malicious posts we can quickly deleate them.
So i am in favour of another mod for the forum

Re: More Moderators?
Just voted in favour.
Am on quite a number of other forums and a few times have seen nutters
post vile nonsense which was ignored but once some lunatic posted the
real names, address's, phone numbers and emails of individuals he hated
on every thread.
This was up for about 45 minutes before being removed so another Mod or
two is a handy thing.
I see Jack Rudd is up for a Mod. No problem with that.
Just curious as to why he left the position in the past.
That is surely what the FM stands for............Former Moderator?

Re: More Moderators?
He didn't - but when the ECF's "official" status was removed (a change was made...) when this forum moved to it's own domain and the new site was born...Geoff Chandler wrote:Just curious as to why he left the position in the past.

Re: More Moderators?
I have voted yes. Carl does a great job but it must be a lot of work - and, perhaps, a little tiresome at times. I mean I know I sometimes produce some right old rubbish but, I mean, look at some of the other stuff
So, if Jack wants to have a go, the majority are in favour and, most importantly, that suits Carl, then great.

Re: More Moderators?
Another yes - and I support the motion to promote Jack from FM (former moderator) to his correct title IM (imminent moderator).
