It was starting to look like being something of a slog through Officers' report. Questions on various aspects of the Chief Executive's report led to that taking about ten minutes more than the Chairman was planning: this was approved with some dissent on a show of hands. The time was not made up on the Finance Director's report, but the Home Director's report was covered with commendable speed.

We eventually got through officers' reports, and have held the BCF AGM. The significant item of business there was the approval of the appointment of Dr John Higgs as a Trustee of the John Robinson Youth Chess Trust.
