I'm not absolutely sure - surely Karjakin must at least have *something* in mind?
I can't believe he spent all his preparation time honing his ability to grovel

I think it's possible to break the Carlsen ego the further this equality goes.MartinCarpenter wrote:I'm not absolutely sure - surely Karjakin must at least have *something* in mind?

I also feel that for his mix of concrete analysis and game specific chess wisdom, for ECF 150 -200, Peter is probably now the best chess commentator in the English speaking world. Other candidates?

I heard an excellent explanation for this. Peter's years of listening to cricket have given him a perfect appreciation for what to do in commentary when nothing is really happening. I think there might be something to be said for that.IanCalvert wrote:I agree.Carl Hibbard wrote:Commentary wise Peter is better than Loek drinking his tea.
