Hi.
What's the use of symbolic alhebraic otation. Doesn't it cause a newbie student to draw Queens/Rooks/knights.Bishops instead of writing Q/R/N/B during a chess game?

The use is that it is not specific to any particular language. This can be useful if you're publishing to a multi-lingual audience.
