Mathew live on board 1, so not the easiest of starts, but not a bad draw either - good luck to both.

Tough start for them both, but presumably Chessbomb is wrong in suggesting that Matthew lost round two? (Or did it mix up his game with someone else's?)

Not sure chess results and chess24 also show a loss - suspect it could be on time if it is correctJonathan Rogers wrote: ↑Thu Sep 06, 2018 5:02 pmTough start for them both, but presumably Chessbomb is wrong in suggesting that Matthew lost round two? (Or did it mix up his game with someone else's?)

I know the times on chess24live are often wrong, but his opponent was showing at 0.00 time left a few times past move 30, so I'd assumed he had lost on time rather than MatthewJonathan Rogers wrote: ↑Thu Sep 06, 2018 5:02 pmTough start for them both, but presumably Chessbomb is wrong in suggesting that Matthew lost round two? Chess-results seems to confirm that Matthew lost.

Curious though that both Ravi and Matthew would have departed radically from their usual repertoires today, if the games attributed to them on Chessbomb are right.

A solid draw for Ravi and a good grind from Matthew. A very successful day.Mick Norris wrote: ↑Fri Sep 07, 2018 3:08 pmDouble round day today; Ravi & Matthew both won this morning
