Nick F - pairing systems make little difference when you play badly and get your knights in a twist.

7/9 ought not be enough for 1st place.

Romain Edouard won't believe what he managed to do today against Gergely Kantor. Check out White's move 31.

Mark Hebden- David Howell is also, to say the least, somewhat obscure.

From Facebook:

Roger Emerson "31 Kh2????? WTF?????"

Romain Edouard "I wanted Kh1 and somehow went to h2. This is insane."

Swayams - Wadsworth has neat finish as well.

Richard Bates keeps another GM at bay.

Nice to know the games to play through later. Just got in - fifty percent train service is worse than the strike action the whole of December.

I'll start with the WTF game.

Board 31 today reminds me of the universal problem of where to put the rooks.

Black's (Richard Jennings) 14th move oversight has been seen before.

Anyone know what happened on board 45, Zheng - Patrick ?

Black's position is a bit nasty but that is to be expected after 4...Lc5 I suppose.
