Forum usage

Is it me or does the forum die at weekends, but is very active during the week when people are supposed to be at work? :D
To Drink or not to Drink, that is the question.

Its a 4NCL weekend this weekend and we are chess players so active players go to congresses, and in some cases they have a life. I don't though

That maybe so, but Hotels have internet access, and most people have at least one laptop with internet capabilities these days... :)

I'm just trying to get at the fact that it seems to be most active when people are supposedly at work - are we all slackers or something? :D

I know I "Ride" the forum far too much. I currently putting together a proposal for the parcel haulier. I do it day and night, but like I said I run 3 companies, and this massive project, ts a lot for anyone. Proving that I really do not have a life. E.G.: the day after my marriage a few weeks ago in was helping at a chess event in York, I even got married there so I could be there. Thats how bad I am.

That's not not having a life, that's dedication for you.

I must admit though when I've been away at congresses I just wind down on a night and try not to think about forums or my RHP chess pages.

I don't want to fall out with anyone on the forum and it is upsetting me a lot.

Simon,
There is nothing that you have said that would upset 99.9% of people and I have enjoyed your contribution to the forum. I hope that says all that needs saying.

But, to complete the triptych, some threads are more equal than others. Kindly leave the stage.

I believe you intend 'triptych' though the use here seems rather imprecise. A little learning is a dangerous thing.
