When you say unavailable, what do you mean?
"Do you play chess?"
"Yes, but I prefer a game with a better chance of cheating."

Couldn't get it over the weekend, but seems OK now.

Working for me too.

I’ve got a game on there that I lost in 12 moves but they’ve attributed it to someone else. I Just checked. It’s still there.

I cannot get on, been that way for a day or two.

They have a thread there where they allow practically anything to be said and the insults fly.

I was thinking say it went down mid argument and some guy has been fuming
for two days waiting to get his reply posted and his counter insult heard.

Hi Jonathan,

They had one of Murray's game as 'Game of the Day.' People thought the combo was quite good.
Someone noticed it was from an Edinburgh league game....it was one of mine!

Your 12 mover, it may be the exact same game played by someone else or do the dates and location of your game match?

Definitely me.
Date opponent and tournament all correct.

Instead of me they’ve got an IM with an extremely similar name (who wasn’t at the tournament).

I’d tell them but I don’t know how

Still cannot get on and I like that site for the ease in finding and getting a game's PGN and picking up the odd inspiring tit-bit.

Anybody else still locked out?

Hi Jonathan,

They have a corrections procedure, it can a take a while once it is submitted. The game I mentioned
above took a day, However it took two-three years to get a bogus Edinburgh v London C.C. removed.
The site has corrected more than a few wrong moves found in books, magazines etc.
Mistakes have crept in changing Descriptive to Algebraic.

All I can say is I've had no trouble getting in lately, although the site is sometimes very slow to load. And a comment I posted yesterday inexplicably dropped off some time during the (NZ) night. But on the whole I don't think they're managing too badly. You have to cut them some slack when they're still dealing with the huge hole left by the death of Daniel Freeman.

It sometimes went offline for a day or two even when he was still around.
