A smooth win with black in an anti-Berlin for Magnus in game 1.

I'm expecting him to win if he plays boring chess. He is stronger than Hikaru in normal positions. But he has got carried away on previous days.

Smooth (crushing!) win for Hikaru in Game 3...

Yes, a good game from Hikaru, although Magnus not playing as boringly as I would advise, Berlin notwithstanding.

Interesting winning attempt in game 4 by Magnus, but I think we are likely to see some blitz games with 60k usd at stake.

Speechless. Carlsen crushed in Game 5. Needs to win the next or its over.

As a Sicilian player, I have always been offended by the idea that Black can play these things a tempo down.

What an anti climax it would be if one of them gets disconnected!

So after leading for almost the entire event, Naka misses out at the last gasp.

I didn't even bother to watch, it was too predictable and depressing.

Well I for one very much enjoyed it and it seems like I wasn't on my own. An article from CNN correspondent, Ben Morse, states "Nearly 70 million TV and online viewers tuned in to watch the five events. It was broadcast in 10 languages across the world and the Grand Final was at times the most-watched TV show in Norway."

News has also broken that the Tour is set to restart in November with the idea that there will be a sort of unofficial online world champion crowned by the end of 2020.
