No, I don't have the book.

The list includes the much fuller material in the book. I can send you that list, but I will require your email address. It is too bulky for a carrier pigeon to convey it. You could buy 'Chess in the Movies' by Bob Basalla online.

A piece by Dominic Lawson

It's mostly about the infighting at 10 Downing Street, but the Netflix series gets a mention along with Judit Polgar. Also name checked are Fischer, Kasparov and even the ECF.

Well, it might be churlish to opine that "the top" is perhaps slightly generously defined there

When the third in the sequence appeared as Anatoly. One of the players in the first team that guessed thought it was something to do with our Prime Minister.
The other team answered correctly and the team captain even said he had the same birthday as Gary Kasparov.

Article in Telegraph today
"Chess isn’t a game, it’s a war – meet one of the women on the front line
Dorsa Derakhshani is a far more serious player than the fictitious Beth, but she notes similarities with the show, not least the sexism"
