TWIC down?
Did not relly know where to post this one, but I cant reach The Week In Chess since yesterday.
I wonder if I (my ISP) have a problem or the site is actually down for more than a day during the world championship...

Re: TWIC down?
The indispensable TWIC site is down right now, due to server problems unrelated to the world championship match. TWIC webmaster Mark Crowther reports that computer gurus are hard at work on the problem, and he guesstimates that there's an 85% chance they'll be up and running in the morning.

I understand TWIC & the shop have had their plug pulled by their ISP. I believe the ISP holds them responsible for hacking attacks. No idea whether their site has been compromised; or even if the ISP has its facts right. Causing considerable frustration, I'm told

If that is true... it would be nice to know who their ISP is...David Robertson wrote:I understand TWIC & the shop have had their plug pulled by their ISP. Re: TWIC down?
TWIC is working but I notice there's no TWIC 807 available yet to view although the latest will normally appear late on a Monday night.
Quote from the site:
"Note we're back after the trauma of a serious server problem. We had to rebuild it from scratch. There may very well be problems and glitches to iron out. I had to disable the stories from other sites section."
