I am sorry to inform you that Tom Collins passed away in 2024.
Tom was longstanding member of Charlton Chess Club.
He was a club member on and off for fifty years, from the 1970s to the 2020s. He was a regular on club nights at Charlton House and at the Bugle Horn or White Swan in Charlton Village afterwards.
Tom played many times for Charlton in the Kent league and his last game was a victory for Charlton's Harvey Cup team in March 2020.
