Can any of you Wise Guys find any games earlier than J Cochrane-v-H Staunton, 1843, where 2 b3 was played against the Sicilian?
Kieseritsky played it at London, 1851, a reference that has already been bettered here. Who hereabouts can improve still further/earlier?
Thanks as ever.
