Hmm... I gathered what was going on. Just didn't see the point in stupid games, that's all!

Oh, that's disappointing. What happened then? I thought this was the grand unveiling of the new enhancements? :(

Interesting rumours flying around at Worcester. Player A comes in and informs me that the grades are due out at 10:00. Player B then tells me 09:30. Player C also says 09:30 and I ask him where he got his info from, Player B comes the reply. 11:00 comes and goes still no grades. Player B wanders past so I ask him where he got his info from, Player C he replies! Player D says Player E told him 11:00. I'm still waiting to find out who told player E! In the meantime everyone who walks past the bookstall is asking if they are out yet.

Yay, I have a grade for the first time :D. Higher than I was expecting, too. Why does it list me as "London *" as well as Warwick? In both tournaments I've entered, I put down Warwick as my club (though I have been playing in the Hammersmith internal, but that hasn't finished yet).

Edit: Oh dear, in the excitement I forgot one thing. Thanks to Carl and everyone else who works on the grading.

Thanks Carl. Everyone is happy now, (that the grades have come out - not necessarily happy with their grade)!

Cheers Carl. :P

I seem to be missing a game, which has taken me from my predicated rating of 144 to 147. I'm not sure whether to be happy or complain.

First posted grade since 1998 and it's the highest it's been since about 1995: hurrah!

Shame it's a dodgy 'E' grade, based only on 12 games over 3 seasons ;-)

I'm sure those who beat you won't complain about it being dodgy! :D

Actually, there is a serious point there. Should results against A grades count more than against E grades?

I suspect not, as E-grades are just as likely to be underestimates as overestimates, and so it ~should all balance out
