It's a huge threat - and Black is struggling to find something to do.

And it's over. Looks like mate on h8 (or loss of that knight) was imminent.

Now Mickey is clearly winning - what will happen tomorrow. Short-Adams or Adams-Short. More importantly, will they play?

Can Hebden actually win this endgame if Summerscale puts his King on a8? Ie can he force a b6 Kxb6 pawn to a7 and Nc7 mate? I guess Summerscale just leaves the pawn on b6 though because b7 allows stalemate tricks.

Shows the difference between GMs and club players in endgames.

Is Aaron threatening ...Bxb5, even? (lack of knowledge of basic endings coming in here)

Has Nick P made a mess of this? I have the impression he expected resignation after Rf7 and missed ...Rc5, and that Rf7 probably wasn't the right move.

But it's a total draw.

Yeah obvious draw if the pieces come off, sorry.
