Re: Part time paid employment for running a chess tournament
Well someone has already been accepted for the 'Entries organiser' which was collation of entry forms, prize money, paying it into account, creation of database, etc.
1 x Helper and 1 x Assistant Controllers required - help setting up tournament and packing away, assistance throughout such as slips for recording games, score sheets, Score charts. Assistant Controllers - as Helper and assistance in running the sections with Arbiters. Would suit someone who wishes to become an arbiter or someone who has passed and needs to work with an arbiter to gain more experience.
1 x Arbiter - normal stuff. running 2 section. I, myself shall be running the other section.
Payment = 10% of entry fees for organiser, 5% per position for Assistant Controllers and 7% for Arbiter.
Please e-mail me for even more details. Entry forms shall be sent out around the end of March.
